Which tool here needs a server, and why?
Device Info is the exception — your public IP address is only visible at the network edge, not inside a browser's JavaScript sandbox, so it's one of the few Toolsda tools that has to ask the server for it. Everything else runs locally.
Does the Online Notepad save my notes automatically?
Yes — it auto-saves every second straight into this browser, can lock a note with password encryption, and works fully offline as an installable PWA.
Can I record my screen without installing software?
Yes — the Screen Recorder captures your screen, a window, or a tab (with mic/webcam if you want) using the browser's native MediaRecorder API, encoded entirely in the tab.
