What is Finance Box?
Finance Box covers the calculations and paperwork that come up constantly for Indian freelancers, savers, and small businesses — deposit maturity, retirement corpus, GST-compliant billing, and identity-document format checks — without the ad-heavy calculator sites that usually rank for these searches.
The 6 tools
- FD + RD Calculator — Calculate FD maturity with live repo rates.
- PPF + EPF Calculator — PPF 7.1%, EPF 8.25% interest calculator.
- GST Invoice Generator — Create GST-compliant invoices instantly.
- PAN & Aadhaar Validator — Validate PAN and Aadhaar numbers offline.
- IFSC Finder + UPI QR — Find bank IFSC codes and generate UPI QR (India only).
- Percentage Calculator — Calculate marks, discount, profit percentage.
Live rates, not stale numbers
FD/RD maturity is calculated at the live RBI repo rate, and PPF/EPF at the current government-declared rate — both read from a rates module this site keeps updated, rather than a number hand-typed into a page once and left to drift out of date.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are these finance tools specific to India?
Yes — FD/RD, PPF/EPF, GST, PAN/Aadhaar and IFSC are all India-specific financial instruments and compliance rules; these tools are not general-purpose international calculators.
Do any of these tools need a server round trip?
Most run entirely in your browser. The IFSC Finder is the exception — the 11-character format is validated locally, but looking up the real branch name and address needs a server lookup against bank data.
Are the FD, PPF and EPF rates kept current?
Yes — the FD calculator reads the live RBI repo rate, and the PPF/EPF calculator reads the current government-declared rates, rather than a number typed once and left to go stale.
Is my PAN or Aadhaar number sent anywhere when I validate it?
No — the PAN & Aadhaar Validator checks the format and, for Aadhaar, the Verhoeff checksum entirely offline. The number you enter is never sent to a server or stored.
