Why most of these run on your device
Link parsing, UPI ID/QR decoding, and known-tracker matching don't need a server round trip — they run as plain logic in your browser, so nothing about the link or UPI ID you're checking is ever uploaded. The WhatsApp Scam Detector is the one exception: obvious scams are still caught by a free local pattern engine, and only genuinely ambiguous messages are sent to Cloudflare Workers AI for a second opinion.

Do any of these tools upload my data to a server?
Most run entirely in your browser. The exception is the WhatsApp Scam Detector, which sends ambiguous messages to Cloudflare Workers AI for analysis — obvious scams are still caught locally by a free pattern engine first.
What is the "scan to receive" UPI scam these tools catch?
A scammer asks you to scan a QR code to "receive" money. UPI never needs your PIN to receive a payment — the QR is actually a payment request, so entering your PIN sends money out of your account instead.
Can I use these tools without creating an account?
Yes — every tool works without signing in. An optional free account only adds saved history and raises the WhatsApp checker's daily limit.
